You will have a series of tests at this appointment, including:
- a chest x-ray,
- an echocardiogram (ECG)
- blood tests.
We will also ask you about any specific nursing needs you may have whilst you are in hospital and your discharge arrangements.
A consultant anaesthetist who will assess your general health.

When you arrive at the Freeman Hospital, please report to the Institute of Transplantation, Level 2 at the Freeman Hospital.
Due to the number of tests which you need to have, you may be in the clinic for over five hours and we would ask you to bear this in mind before making transport arrangements to and from the hospital.
