Ward 35 – neonatal intensive care unit
The neonatal intensive care unit, or special care baby unit, provides care for babies who are born prematurely. We also treat babies who have breathing or heart problems, require surgery or have other complex health needs.

Ward 36 is the Northern Oesophago–Gastric Unit and mainly provides care for people requiring treatment for a range of upper gastrointestinal (upper GI) disorders.

Ward 38 is an adult critical care unit specialising in care for patients after complex surgery and with medical problems.

Ward 41 is our antenatal ward. You will stay on this ward if you need additional monitoring of your pregnancy.
