The women’s health service at Molineux brings together GPs with a specialist interest in women’s health and a community gynaecologist.
We offer assessment, advice and treatment in a community setting. This aims to improve access to care and reduce the need for some women to attend hospital appointments.
You currently cannot self-refer to this service. You will be advised by your health professional if you have a referral to the team at Molineux.
This service is designed to complement, not replace, hospital gynaecology services. If your condition is suitable, we will assess and manage this locally. Should you require more specialist care, you will be referred to our hospital services.
The service supports women experiencing a range of common gynaecological conditions.
Conditions including:
- Menopause symptoms
- Irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding
- Painful periods
- Pelvic pain
