We use the latest technology and techniques, and our treatments for patients with mitochondrial disease are world renowned.
Lovely staff that go out of their way to help. Professional relaxed environment. Very reassuring and went above what they had to.
How we can help
Sometimes starting a family doesn’t happen as easily as we hope.
If you’re having difficulty conceiving, the first step is to speak with your GP, who can support and guide you.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence recommends that if you’ve been trying for a year without success, you should be offered further assessment. You may be referred sooner if you have a condition affecting fertility, or are aged 36 or over.
Same-sex couples, single women and LGBTQ+ people can also access support through a GP referral. Your healthcare team is here to help you explore your options. Please visit the NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board website for more information on funding.
You can also find clear, independent information about fertility treatment on the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) website.
Success rates
Like all fertility clinics in the UK, we are regulated by the HFEA.
Currently, Newcastle Fertility Centre success rates are consistent with and above the national average for all types of treatment we offer.
Sperm and egg donation
Are you interested in helping people who want a family of their own? Or would you like to get involved in our world-leading research to help prevent the transmission of DNA related conditions?
Egg and sperm donation can make a meaningful difference – whether you’re helping someone have a baby through IVF or supporting vital research that improves future treatment. By exploring donation, you’re taking a positive step that can benefit others now and in the future. Our team is here to offer clear information, answer your questions, and help you understand what’s involved, so you can decide if donation is right for you.
