“All the staff were so kind and caring. Clearly very busy but nothing was too much for them. I felt safe and cared for by everyone, healthcare assistants, anaesthetists, surgeon, theatre and recovery staff , and my nurse. I wasn’t afraid to ask questions and my nurse was the most wonderful, kind, compassionate, caring and funny lady – she was just wonderful.”

“…the respiratory and ED consultant that looked after me during a really frightening experience were so caring, patient and kind when I was truly terrified. “I wish I could leave 10 stars for these wonderful people…who created a positive, caring, professional environment for all patients in their care. I felt very safe in their hands and in no doubt I was receiving the best care I possibly could. Everything was explained clearly. Every member of staff always had time to answer questions. If an individual couldn't answer it, they would get someone who could, always giving you their time. I was never patronised which is very important as you are getting older.”

“Been under the care of the RVI hospital following an operation which I needed on my wrist. And this hospital has been amazing throughout from going down to theatre and the after care. From physio and check-ups throughout the six months…This operation has been life changing for the better I'm very grateful to all staff at this fantastic hospital.”

“I was visiting the area when I suffered a dog bite to my face…I simply couldn't believe how brilliant the service was. No waiting, very pleasant and helpful staff, I was absolutely blown away.
