AccessAble works with organisations across the UK to create clear, factual information, so you can plan your visit with confidence. Each guide has been created in person, by an AccessAble surveyor, and includes photographs, measurements, and practical details about what you can expect when visiting.
Guides are available for our key sites, including:
- Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI)
- Great North Children’s Hospital
- Freeman Hospital
- Dental Hospital
- Community services across the city

The detailed access guides provide specific, practical detail, such as:

Why this matters
Everyone’s access needs are different. By providing accurate, detailed information in advance, the detailed access guides help you:
- Plan your visit with confidence
- Decide what adjustments you may need
- Feel more independent and reassured when attending appointments.
Importantly, the guides do not rate or judge accessibility. They provide clear, objective information so individuals can make informed choices based on what matters to them.
