Directions and location within the hospital

The Microvascular Measurement Service is based within the Nuclear Medicine unit at Freeman Hospital, located alongside the new renal and cancer services centre to the rear of the Freeman Hospital.

Microvascular measurement, involves special tests that provide information about a patient’s small blood vessels and blood flow through them. Patients are referred to us by consultants who use the results of the tests to diagnose a wide range of conditions.

The Nuclear Medicine unit is located on the colloquially named Bobby Robson corridor. It is on the same floor level as all the main entrances to the hospital (Level 2).

The unit or corridor are not specifically signposted from the main entrances. Please refer to the site map below or ask at reception for directions to the Nuclear Medicine unit.
