Scott House supports families of sick children being treated at Freeman Hospital by giving them somewhere to stay just minutes from their seriously ill child’s hospital bedside.
Scott house has:
- 18 en-suite bedrooms
- 1 transplant flat
- direct telephone lines to hospital wards in all bedrooms
- 2 kitchens
- 2 dining rooms
- a quiet room
- 2 playrooms
- laundry facilities (including washing machines and tumble driers)
The facilities will help parents to be closer to their child for longer, and be on-hand at any time of the day or night
Staff on the Children’s Heart Unit will be able to tell parents about how to book their stay.
