Commercial enterprise is a key part of Newcastle Hospitals’ interim strategy and developing longer term plans.

Supporting innovation and growth is a core function of our commercial enterprise team, who provide an internal and external service to support opportunities for improvement across the organisation and with industry partners.

Commercial strategy 2024-2027

We are working with colleagues and partners to expand our activities and deliver our first commercial strategy, with a portfolio including: health and life sciences, education and training, pharmaceutical production, international and private healthcare, and data partnerships.

All revenue from commercial activity is reinvested into our NHS services, to ensure we continue to deliver healthcare to exceptional standards.
