If you have been diagnosed with HIV infection, you can access New Croft Clinic for comprehensive HIV care.
We offer a consultant led service, supported by a specialist HIV pharmacist, an HIV psychology team and HIV specialist nurses.
We can arrange both telephone and face to face appointments.
We will organise regular blood tests to monitor you HIV viral load and your general health, and we arrange for HIV treatment to be supplied to you from the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Please contact us to arrange an appointment. We have morning clinics on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
HIV treatment – PEP and PrEP
Post-exposure prophylaxis, often referred to as PeP, can be taken within 72 hours of exposure to HIV and may prevent infection.
Pre-exposure prophylaxis, often referred to as PrEP, can be taken by HIV-negative people who are at risk of contracting HIV to prevent infection.
Both can be discussed with your GP, HIV specialist doctor or at a sexual health clinic.
