- The community team review children who are local to Newcastle area.
- Referrals are accepted from any health care professional and for pre-school school children referrals are accepted from SENDOS.
- The team work closely with families, health professionals, education, social care and voluntary organisations.
- In addition to seeing children in clinic, the team also work into homes, schools and nurseries.

- The team provide a service to children and young people aged 0-19 years with a range of conditions affecting their physical development.
