Dr Jill Gardiner is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Newcastle’s Northern Centre for Cancer Care specialising in lung cancer and mesothelioma.
A graduate of Glasgow University, Dr Gardiner’s specialist registrar training was carried out in Edinburgh at the Western General where she also completed an MD in the attached ICRF Unit.
Dr Gardiner commenced her Consultant post in Newcastle in 2001 where she actively recruits to national clinical trials in the areas of lung cancer and mesothelioma.
She is a Trust appraiser and mentor and has an interest in training with a role as joint Training Programme Director for Medical Oncology in the Northern Deanery.
