Dr Erin Hurst is a Consultant Haematologist specialising in blood cancers and bone marrow transplantation.
Dr Hurst graduated from Newcastle University in 2005 and completed her junior doctor training in the North East, becaming a consultant at the Freeman Hospital in 2015.
Working as part of the haemato-onocology team, Dr Hurst manages blood cancers in particular acute leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndromes. She also works as part of the bone marrow transplant team managing patients from referral and initial assessment, through transplant into long term follow-up.
