Linda Pepper trained as a Psychiatric Nurse and has worked in child and adolescent psychiatry, and social work. Linda has served as a public governor for Northumbria Trust for the past 12 years.
Linda works as a lay member in many national NHS organisations including Centre for Public Scrutiny, Royal College of Obs. and Gynae, Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, Patient Editor for BMJ Journal SRH, Independent Reconfiguration Panel, NICE, and several Cancer organisations. She is currently a lay member on Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Women’s Health Expert Advisory Group, and a lay examiner with RCOG part 3 MRCOG exam.
Linda lives in Berwick-upon-Tweed, making her the most northern representative of the public governors. She is looking forward to understanding how Newcastle Trust operates and how this differs from her experience in Northumbria Trust.
