If you cannot find the information you require on our website or in the public domain, you can either request it from us online or write to us at the address listed below.
We want to be open and transparent and are normally able to satisfy requests in full. However the right of access to information is not absolute and we may have to refuse queries, either in part of full, on the basis of the exemptions (for example, in cases where disclosure would breach patient confidentiality, or put people in danger).
All such decisions will be made, and fully justified, in accordance with the law.
We are required under the Act to respond to valid queries no later than 20 working days following receipt. If, having fully considered your request, we reasonably require further information to respond, we will request this from you as soon as possible.
In all cases, the 20 working day clock will only begin once we have received the necessary clarification. In line with section 1(3) of the Act, there shall be no duty for us to comply with your request until we receive this information from you.
If for any reason you are unhappy with the service you have received, please contact the corporate risk and assurance team using the details shown below.
If you continue to be dissatisfied, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner. Generally, the Commissioner cannot make a decision until you have exhausted the trust’s complaints procedure. Should you wish to contact the Information Commissioner, you can do so by writing to The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
