Commercial activity is a key part of Newcastle Hospitals’ five year strategy which sets out our shared direction for Newcastle Hospitals and the communities we serve.
Supporting innovation` and growth is a core function of our commercial team, who provide an internal and external service to support opportunities for improvement across the organisation and with industry partners.
Commercial strategy 2024-2027
We are working with colleagues and partners to expand our activities and deliver our commercial strategy, with a portfolio including: health and life sciences, education, training and experience, pharmaceutical production, international and private healthcare, strategic partnerships, digital and data partnerships and innovation and intellectual property.
All revenue from commercial activity is reinvested into our NHS services, to ensure we continue to deliver healthcare to exceptional standards.
