What does the perinatal pelvic health service do?
We help with:
- Bladder leaks (wee leaks)
- Bowel control problems
- Pelvic pain
- Heaviness or bulging in the vagina (prolapse)
- Birth recovery and perineal tears
Our specialist physiotherapists and midwives are here to help you feel confident, strong, and supported.
How to refer
You can refer yourself to our service. You do not need to see your GP first.

Perineal clinic
If you have a third or fourth-degree tear, or ongoing problems after birth, you may be offered an appointment in our specialist Perineal clinic.
We check healing, answer your questions, and support your recovery.
