This resource has been designed as a practical guide to help and assist you to look after a ventilated patient, under the care of the North East Assisted Ventilation Service.

All of these patients will have their own ventilator and correct circuits / interface at home.

This is a support tool, and does not replace any medical device or clinical skill competency based training.
