You have had a chest X-ray because you have told us about symptoms that could come from a serious health problem.
What happens now?
A specialist X-ray doctor will check your chest X-ray. They might decide you need more tests. The hospital will call you directly to arrange this.
Your GP will get the X-ray report in one to two weeks.
How do I get my results?
You must contact your GP to find out the results of your chest X-ray and discuss why you asked for it.
Chest X-rays do not see all important conditions. If you are coughing up blood, or your symptoms are getting worse, please contact your GP or NHS 111
