Ward 20 specialises in looking after adults who need foot and ankle surgery, and people who need surgery and other treatment for bone tumours.
You will be cared for by several staff including orthopaedic surgeons, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other support staff.
The ward also has a Rheumatology Day Unit for day-case treatments for patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The unit has additional areas for patients to discuss treatment options with specialist nurses and gain peer support.
Location of ward
Ward 20 is on Level 7 at Freeman Hospital. From the Main Entrance walk past the reception desk and follow the corridor, passing the shop and hairdressers. Turn left and take the stairs or lift up one floor to level 7 and follow the signs for Ward 20.
