Ward 19 is an adult orthopaedic ward which cares for people having planned orthopaedic surgery, specialising in hip, knee, foot and ankle surgery.
We also care for patients undergoing upper and lower limb orthopaedic surgical procedures.
You will be cared for by several different staff including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and specialist nurses for pain, research, and wound care.
Ward visiting times
1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm.
Only 2 visitors will be allowed at a time.
No visitors will be allowed during mealtimes. Mealtimes: 12pm to 1 pm, 5pm to 6pm.
Location of ward
Ward 19 is on Level 7 at Freeman Hospital. From the Main Entrance walk past the reception desk and follow the corridor, passing the shop and hairdressers. Turn left and take the stairs or lift up to level 7 and follow the signs for Ward 19.
