Ward 1 is an adult urology ward which provides care for people who need treatment for common conditions affecting the urinary tract. This can include the:
- kidneys
- ureter
- bladder
- prostate
- urethra
- male reproductive system
You will be admitted to the ward on the same day as your planned procedure. If your procedure is more straight-forward, you may be able to go home the same day.
Location of the ward
Ward 1 is on Level 3 at Freeman Hospital. From the Main Entrance walk past the reception desk and follow the corridor, passing the shop and hairdressers. Turn left and take the stairs or lift up one floor to level 3 and follow the signs for Ward
