Professor Stephen Robson

Professor Robson is an Honorary Consultant Obstetrician and sub-specialist in Maternal and Fetal medicine. He was sub-specialty trained at University College London and established the Fetal Medicine Unit at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust in 1993. He continues to be actively involved in research into fetal health. He pioneered fetal telemedicine which supports ultrasound services across the North East and currently leads the specialised regional placenta accreta spectrum and fetal renal anomaly services.
