My department is supported by an excellent team of neuro-radiologists providing imaging and interventional support. Our neuro-anesthetists are highly skilled in giving anesthetic support for patients with complex medical conditions.
“I work with a dedicated and specialised team of nursing staff in theatre and wards trained to manage all types of spine cases. We are supported by experienced physiotherapy and occupational therapy departments helping recovery and rehabilitation.
“We have the advantage of a state of the art High Dependency and Intensive Care Unit under an experienced consultant Intensivist, for round-the-clock critical care management. This infrastructural support is paramount for performing spine surgeries in medically complex patients.
“I believe very strongly in providing as much information and adequate time for patients to enable them to choose the treatment option they are most comfortable in pursuing. Giving best possible result of surgery with minimal setbacks is my goal. I am proud to state that the RVI is well-equipped to manage all types and complexities of spine conditions. It also has the correct ethos of being patient-centric and delivering high quality patient care.”
