Educated at Edinburgh University. Dr Tse trained in Sheffield, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Great Ormond Street Hospital London. As a kidney specialist he delivers care for children with complex kidney disease including dialysis and transplants for the whole of the North East.
He is passionate in using Quality Improvement to improve Patient Safety at the Great North Children’s Hospital and welcomes any comments good or bad in how we deliver care.
Working with the other 13 UK kidney units Dr Tse has wide and varied research interests: from common conditions such as childhood high blood pressure and urine infections, to rare kidney conditions and to medication errors in children.
