Dr Roberta Bugeja offers expert care for women with a wide range of pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and complications related to previous pelvic floor surgery.

Dr Bugeja is known for her holistic, patient-centred approach and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored management plans. She is particularly passionate about supporting young people with congenital urogenital anomalies, ensuring sensitive and developmentally appropriate care.
She is a certified educator and currently serves as the Lead for Undergraduate Teaching in Women’s Health, actively involved in curriculum development, bedside teaching, and mentoring of medical students. She is committed to promoting high standards in medical education and fostering the next generation of clinicians.
Her research interests focus on improving the consent process in gynaecology, with a particular emphasis on the use of Patient Decision Aids (PDAs) to enhance shared decision-making and patient autonomy.
