Dr Foo is a Consultant in Obstetrics and sub-specialist in Maternal & Fetal Medicine. She completed her post-graduate training in London and sub-specialty training in Newcastle. She was awarded a PhD (Imperial College London) for work on maternal cardiovascular health, and a BSc (Hons) in Human Molecular Genetics for research into fetal cardiac disease. She has published extensively in the research arena of women’s health.
Her clinical interests are in fetal neurological disorders, and she holds a Diploma in Prenatal Neuroimaging (Osaka, Japan). She established the regional Fetal Neurology service. She maintains a keen interest in medical education and is Undergraduate Lead (Obstetrics) for Newcastle University.
