Dr Josie Vila is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital specialising in connective tissue diseases.
Originally from the North East, Dr Vila qualified as a doctor in 2002 from the University of Newcastle and was appointed as Consultant Rheumatologist in Newcastle in 2015.
She has sub-speciality interests in connective tissue disease, interstitial lung disease, systemic sclerosis and IgG4 related disease, and sits on the North Eastern Regional CTD and Vasculitis MDT, the North Eastern Regional ILD MDT and the Northern IgG4 MDT.
