Biography
Consultant paediatrician in endocrinology and diabetes at the Great North Children’s Hospital since 2021. MD thesis on satiety signalling in obese children and adolescents and was completed in 2018 following a clinical research fellowship at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Interests include metabolic bone, having completed a clinical research fellowship at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Clinical lead for the CEW (Complications of Excess Weight) service at Newcastle.
