We hosted our fifth annual sustainable supplier event as part of efforts to meet our net zero supply chain goal.

- Share solutions: if you have an innovative product or services that supports our carbon, waste and clean air goals or our climate adaptation plan, we’d really like to find out more. Please email the team and include ‘meet the buyer request’ in the subject line. If you have a silver bullet to address the climate crisis, they want to hear about it!
- Join the Sustainable Supplier LinkedIn group: connect with peers, share challenges, knowledge and innovation on our Low Carbon Supplier Hub – LinkedIn group
- Report your data / NZC / CRP via our five step net zero carbon supplier framework and/or NCC supplier link (annual data reporting deadline is 30 June 2025).
- Follow Net Zero North East NECA to see what is happening in the region.
- Register on NEPO:OPEN: suppliers who would like to bid for opportunities from Newcastle City Council will need to register on Open platform, which is free to register and use. For support email the open support team.
