Sue Hillyard joined the trust in an interim capacity as executive director of operations on 1 April 2025. She has oversight of the management of hospital services across the organisation and works closely with the clinical boards to deliver elective and emergency care.
Prior to this she worked in consultancy since 2012 in a range of roles specialising in governance, large scale service reviews and performance and financial recovery. She holds an MSc in management and organisational development and is a qualified executive coach.
