I am a Consultant Cardiologist at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in complex echocardiography and adult congenital heart disease.
I graduated with MBBS (Honours) from Newcastle University in 2013 and completed my cardiology specialty training within the Northern Deanery before being appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals in 2025.
I have formal accreditation from the British Society of Echocardiography in both transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography and have extensive expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and regularly chair the specialist valve multidisciplinary team meeting.
My clinical interests include valvular heart disease, infective endocarditis, aortopathy, adult congenital heart disease, and complex echocardiography.
