Dr Hannah Carlin graduated from Oxford University in 2011 and moved to the North East in 2015 to pursue specialty training in internal medicine and respiratory medicine.
She was appointed as a consultant in 2025 and works in both the North East assisted ventilation service and the general respiratory medicine team at the RVI, delivering inpatient care and general outpatient clinics.
Her specialty interests within respiratory medicine include respiratory failure, non invasive ventilation, and pulmonary embolism, and she contributes to the specialist PE service.
