Hello, my name is Gillian Barron, and I joined the NMAHP Research Team as Study Support Assistant in January 2024.
After 16 years working in education, I was encouraged to explore a new direction and was drawn to this role through my close connections with research. Although new to the NHS, I was excited to take on a fresh challenge, expand my skills, and support the important work of clinical research.
My role involves providing operational and administrative support across a range of research programmes. This includes diary management, contact coordination, and helping to facilitate our flagship education initiative, the 4Ps Programme. My previous experience spans HR and Training, PA to a Management Consultant, Purchase Ledger, and general administration, giving me a strong foundation for supporting the team effectively.
