Ward 9 is an adult inpatient ward which cares for people after they have had a stroke and need to stay in hospital for treatment.
You will be cared for by several different members of staff including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and other support staff.
Location of ward
Ward 9 is based on level 5 in the main ward blocks at the Freeman Hospital. If you come into the Freeman Hospital from the main entrance. Pass the shop, hairdressers and turn left. Take the lift up to level 5 and follow the signs for ward 9.
