Cervical Screening Training
Cervical Screening Training provides training for nurses involved in the screening process.
We offer training to nurses who are new to cervical screening, and update training for established sample-takers. The training for new sample takers consists of two days of theory followed by a clinical element.
We have produced some guidelines to provide standard guidance for cervical screening training across the North East region. The guidelines have been produced by the Cervical Screening Training Department hosted by the Newcastle Hospitals and covers all elements of the NHS Cervical Screening Programme (NHSCSP).
