4Ps Taster Session 2019

For more information on any of our #MakeSpace4Research events you can email us at [email protected]

The 4Ps Programme

The 4Ps Programme has been developed by the Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals at the Newcastle Hospitals to support your needs regardless of where you are on the “research interested” to “Aspiring Clinical Academic” continuum.

This is a welcoming jargon-free modular programme. The four modules are Place, Project, Person and Plan, and they provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to move forward with research.

The starting point for the programme is our pre-requisite Foundation session.

The programme is delivered by a range of NMAHP clinical-academic colleagues, and with input from relevant organisations including the Research Design Service, Patient and Public Involvement panels, universities and funders.

For more information please click here for our main 4Ps page.

Doctoral Support Group

Our Doctoral Support Group is a great opportunity for those on Doctoral training pathways (PhD or Prof Doc) to share experiences, learn from and support each other on the doctoral pathway.

All sessions are held on ‘Teams’ for one hour. On some occasions 30 minutes will be set aside for a spotlight session with the remainder a sounding board for challenges, experiences, processes, presentation practice or just generally bouncing ideas around for pieces of work/funding applications/publications etc.

Please email the NMAHPs Research team [email protected] for details.
