Dr Nikhil Birdie is a Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialist interest in Breast Imaging.
He graduated from Newcastle University in 2012 and completed his registrar training in the Northern School of Radiology. During his higher training Dr Birdi worked in Breast Screening units across the region, interpreting multi-modality imaging and performing image-guided intervention.
Further to this he has undertaken several research projects and presented at various national and international conferences, as well as being published in peer-reviewed journals.
To further his experience, Dr Birdie will be undertaking a Medical Imaging Fellowship at The University of Toronto, Canada, in 2022.
